Positive Strokes (Exercise after Stroke) Rehabilitation Maintenance Classes

Exercise after Stroke sessions are designed to help improve your overall fitness level which will help to make every day tasks easier.

These sessions are designed for Stroke Survivors who are able to walk (with or without a walking aid), however, those who are able to stand but not walk may also gain some benefit.

The exercises will help to improve stamina, strengthen weaker areas, improve balance and help to reduce the effects of tonal changes.  Plus you will make new friends with people in a similar situation.

The sessions cost £4.50, last 1 hour and are followed by tea, coffee and biscuits and a chance to chat to each other.

Class day and time:

Tuesday       2 - 3 pm   -  All Saints Church, Denmead

If you wish to join in a session you will need a referral from your GP or Stroke Rehabilitation Team.  We may also be able to assist with Transport in some circumstances.

This class is also open to individuals with strength and balance issues.

Please contact Terri to obtain a referral form or for more information.
