COPD Exercise Update

This exercise update is aimed at Exercise Instructors with the CRD qualification and/or Physiotherapists/Physio Assistants working in Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Maintenance Programmes.

It may also be of interest to Exercise Instructors working in other disciplines who have people with COPD/CRD in their sessions.

The workshop will be a mix of evidence based   practical and classroom sessions including:

· Update on BTS Guidelines

· Practical Exercise Programming

· How hard to push patients – Linking the Legs and the Lungs

· Contemporary research in the field

Denmead is in the South East Hampshire area and there is a large free car park at the hall and local shops and cafes for refreshments.
