The previous 2014 total of £2033 has been beaten, the actual amount raised this year - 2016 - is £2608.55.

Terri’s Fundraising Cycle Ride 2016

Head to Head Tour – Ireland

24th August – 4th September

10 day cycle ride in Ireland, from the most southerly point (Mizen Head), up the west coast to the most northerly point (Malin Head).

This year I am cycling 570 miles to raise funds for the Rocky Appeal (Da Vinci Robot at QA) and the BodyFocus Support Group.

The Da Vinci Robot uses precise surgical techniques to remove a variety of cancers including prostate, gynaecological, colorectal, kidney, bladder without major open surgery allowing a quicker recovery and faster return to normal life.  This technique was recently used to remove my husband’s cancer.  So far £1m has been raised.  They need to raise a further £1.4m to keep the Robot at QA.

The BodyFocus Support Group raises funds to support the provision of specialised classes eg:

• Defibrillator for the Cardiac Rehabilitation classes

• Transport for less able class participants

• Amputees class

• Training and equipment to provide stroke classes

• Pulmonary Rehabilitation Maintenance classes

• Maintenance Exercise classes for people who have had a stroke

I would like to beat my previous fund-raising record of £2033. Can you help me do it? 

So far I have raised £1700 from paper pledges and cash donations, I am hoping that this Just Giving Crowd-funding page will help me to beat my previous total.
