'Most Improved Rider' Trophy Presentation

This year's ride in July was a special achievement for Debbie and I. We did loads of training and also bought new road bikes leading up to the ride and the investment in effort and bikes paid off. We jointly won the 'Most Improved Rider' Trophy. Instead of bringing up the rear (as in past years), this year we were about midfield. No mean feat for a 400 mile ride through northern France! We received our award at the Reunion Celebration at Seacourt on 30 October 2010. (See corner photo)

It is quite a large trophy, but I will be bringing it in to class soon to show it off.

So far to date I have raised £716.50 with a few more sponsorships to collect. So I would like to say a big BIG THANK YOU to all of you who sponsored me. The money this year was raised for the British Lung Foundation and the local Breathe Easy Group with 20% going to the Hayling Charities.

Thank you once again for your help and support in raising much needed funds for these charities.
