Individual one-off sessions or structured courses can be arranged to suit all ages and abilities and to meet the client's needs. Training is conducted on public roads, cycleways/routes and suitable off road areas e.g. quiet car parks, public playgrounds/parks etc depending on ability and confidence.

Cycling is an enjoyable leisure activity and also an effective means of transport. There are added benefits too such as weight control (you can burn loads of calories) and improving your health (such as reducing blood pressure, improving lung capacity, not to mention a more toned physique) through developing your fitness levels. More about cycling.

Level 3 - On busy roads (one-way/multi lanes, traffic lights, roundabouts etc)

Courses and Fees

The normal rate is £20 per hour or part. However, this may be split between up a number of people.

For Levels 1 and 2 Bikeability or Cycle Safety Training courses the maximum number of adults/children per course is 6. For Level 3 the maximum number is 2 and children should be 14 years or over. Level 3 is usually of 2 hours duration.

For children the course would normally be of 6-8 one hour sessions depending on the ability and awareness of the child and would include both levels 1 and 2 and certificates provided.

For adults the course duration is often shorter depending on ability and confidence and is often tuned to the requirements of the adult.

For both adults and children sessions can be booked on an ad-hoc or course basis.
